Glad to see this list showing a little life, so I thought I would ask a question.
I know how to make a link that app users can send to their friends as email/message/post to take them to the app on the App Store. What I would like to do is associate the new app user upon first launch with the user who recommended the app. I could provide a second link in the original email post with a scheme that would open in the app and correctly identify the recommending user, but that seems a little clunky. Is there a better way?
