Happy new Year, everyone!
I have a custom layer hosting view that has a sub-layer positioned partly outside the
view's bounds. Both the view's layer and the sub-layer have -masksToBounds set to NO.
This worked "as expected" (that is to say, it worked as I wanted it to work), in that the
sub-layer was fully drawn on screen as if the view's frame was much larger.
This worked consistently from 10.10 to 10.12, but in 10.13 is no longer seems to. I read
the release notes but couldn't find mention of new behavior.
I have to admit that I always suspected this might be a sort of glitch. Can anyone confirm
that I have to find a different way to create the same effect?
Regards
Markus
