Sure, create an NSBundle for it and get the version the usual way.

NSBundle*                       bundle = [NSBundle bundleWithPath:pathToApp]; 
// Or bundlewithURL:.
NSString*                       version = 
bundle.infoDictionary[kCFBundleVersionKey];
