More experimenting:

if I use

myWindowListOptions = kCGWindowListExcludeDesktopElements | 
kCGWindowListOptionIncludingWindow;
myWindowArray = (NSArray*) 
CFBridgingRelease(CGWindowListCopyWindowInfo(myWindowListOptions,theWindowID));

it seems a bit better, but I’m not sure if it is valid or not?
