I wasn’t really trying to second-guess how you might have done this in the past; more, I was suggesting how you could do it without having “discovered” this effect previously. It definitely isn’t a standard behaviour of NSLayoutManager, and going that route seems a fairly complex solution to what is a pretty easy challenge.
