You are correct making that change would break other apps. I’m not sure what the answer is. They might need to build 2 frameworks one with the changed installation directory and one without. They might choose to do that for you now but in the future, update the installation directory for the framework and be clear in release notes that the Runpath Search paths will need to be updated in their customers applications.
