The error I get with Xcode 7 beta 2 is
error: operand of postfix '?' should have optional type; type is 'NSURLRequest'
if let req = NSURLRequest(URL: url)?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^
So it looks like this has been fixed already.
