I like Cocoa. Like any language it has a learning curve, but I enjoy traipsing around in Cocoa-Land, and it's not that hard to learn if you put some work into it. If you have a problem, you can ask it here; that's what this mailing-list is for. If Apple thought their documentation was perfect for everyone, they probably wouldn't have a list for people to ask questions. I think it would be nigh-impossible to write documentation that fits everyone's needs, so the obvious way out is to give a brief description, plus description of simple tasks, provide lots of useful examples, and have mailing lists to ask about things you're unsure on.

The guys on this list are really helpful.
