O'Reilly's "Secure Programming Cookbook" has a chapter on making code resistant to cracking, both through obfuscation and deterring the use of debuggers. I think Ferguson & Schneier's "Practical Crypography" talks a bit about this too, at a higher level.

But in general there is no way to prevent your code from being reversed or cracked by a dedicated hacker. The harder you try, the more it just becomes an enticing challenge to them.
