If you have a concern about the contribution agreement with the CodePlex Foundation, then raise your concern with them and have them pay their lawyers to address it. Having set up the legal processes for the CodePlex Foundation myself, I know that (a) they should be willing to do so, and (b) they have no desire to make legal anxiety a burden for Foundation projects.
