Doyle used to make them for genoas; they may still. I obtained a quote for one
several years ago for my 42, and the price was a little north of $700 as I
recall. I suspect they’re more expensive now.

Hello Listers,

Can anyone recommend a good source to buy a genoa UV sock, or have one made?
Or is anybody selling one?

I ordered new racing sails this offseason and intentionally didn’t get a UV
strip on the genoa, so I need a sock for UV protection when the boat’s not in
use.

The max luff length I measured for the genoa, from head attachment point on the
swivel to tack attachment point on the furler drum, is 37’ 0.5”.

I have a spare headsail halyard with which to hoist the sock, and bow cleats
for cleating off any lines on the sock.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Cheers,
