Thanks for the confirmation. Although we may still look at this boat next
month, we have learned that it has an expired TIP, which presents another
challenge should we be interested in pursuing it. There may be a way to
resolve this, but the official word is that the TIP must be cancelled and
the boat leave Mexico before re-entering to apply for a new TIP. Needless
to say, we're not crazy enough to take a lengthy voyage on a new vessel
which has sat unused for several years! There may be unofficial solutions
to the problem, but for now we're broadening the search to the entire west
coast from BC to Mexico. On the C&C front, I believe only the LF39 and LF43
meet our needs.
