Lloyd, are the Dorade vents on your 39 the typical C&C the long molded in boxes or a separate box mounted on the deck? THanks

The previous owner had put a container in a cabinet to catch the water. On the port side main cabin water is coming down the enclosed molded ceiling headliner that butts against the forward teak bulkhead just forward of the chainplates. It is a completely in accessible so short of starting to cut apart the ceiling I cannot find the source. So far, I have: - Removed and rebedded the chainplates, though it is not coming from that area it is above and forward. - New handrails and re-cored deck where wet. Have access to all fasteners and they are dry. - Removed all winches etc around mast area, ran all lines back and redid decks. - Rebedded mast collar where it meets the deck. - Resealed around the bulkhead stainless tang that has the small stainless plate on deck. So, my only two intrusions that are in that area are the mast itself and the above mentioned stainless tab. Somehow water finds a pathway in the enclosed ceiling and dumps right into the port side shelf. If my wife happens to be sleeping in that berth at the time you can guess what happens next. With all the heavy rain last year it was constantly wet. What I have not done is to add more sealant to the deck fasteners that hold the mast collar in, but they look well sealed. I think I am going to remove the tang plate completely and redo that. Will double up on the mast bedding at the deck seam and the fasteners. Any suggestions are welcomed!
