Hi Marek, What size boat? What percent headsail? Curious as I am presently getting prices for repairs done on old sails vs a getting a new sail.
Just spent $700 to repair a 140% that we use the most. It's a string sail and had several cracks through the plastic material but all the strings are intact, and it needed the three telltale windows replaced, a new sail would cost $5200 to $7500. The sailmaker went personally and measured my boat without me having to meet him. Hopefully saved the sail for a few more seasons.
