We solved the problem in a low tech way. We only have 2 types of beer
on board cold and warm.
When you grab a can if it is cold you drink it. If it is warm you throw
it in the farthest part of the ice box
and choose again. You get 3 grabs before you drink warm beer.

This stops people turning on the cabin lights to read the labels on
