I did that on mine ( 27 MkIII ), re-used all the existing fittings ( it came
with a Prototank from factory ).
Put 5 layers of epoxy " green on green " , make thick fillets on every joint
and don't forget to apply same treatment for the baffles so nothing will rot.

In the end I decided to custom-make a tank from Marine Plywood and
epoxy/fiberglass cloth, using the existing tank as a template.
Install is this weekend. If things don’t work out I can look up Kracor or go
with the Ronco B172.

in Milwaukee has made marine tanks since the 70’s and has drawings for their
many tanks. They have produced tanks for C&C 35 for example as listed with them
as Mold No.5059 . Perhaps you will find the tank for your boat from them. I
