I had the same issue I replaced it with a Grocco flush mount.
Glassed the area then drilled a new hole then used a small router with a 
bearing guide and a 45 degree bit to route the chamfer.
I also replaced the seacock with a Grocco and their backing plate.  I epoxied 
the backing plate in place then used the backing plate as the guide for the 
router bit. Hope this helps.
