Joe, I've used it around anywhere rope chafe occurs.....cockpit coaming leading lines over edges. Traveller lines, etc. I've cit it to size easily....HOWEVER, see the comment on the raised SHARP edges. It needs hard rolled around the edges to keep the corners from lifting.....
BUT, it does stop rope chafing and wearing into the fiberglass edges.
