I am still using Windows Live Mail from Windows Essentials (no longer available) and Thunderbird Mail. Both programs access all of my email accounts and neither has shown any problems. I don't know what to suggest at this time except for you to experiment and try a different email app on your smartphone, laptop or desktop computers.
