Do it! I and a friend both installed garboard drains spring 2020 on C&C34 and C&C36. As we both live several hours drive from boats in winter we had to impose on others to climb aboard in winter to check bilge and pump out periodically. Pain. Now, worry free and boat is very dry. Place a length of cotton clothes line in hole to wick out last drop. One of the better projects you can do on a boat.
