Re cold beer. I run a 5 cubic foot freezer in Mexico on my boat with solar. I
freeze jugs of water and use a super insulated cooler to keep beverages cold.

I fould that most panels inly generate 1/2 of there rated performance do get 2x
your need. And batteries only yield 1/2 of rated amperage so double that as
well. Also, modern freezer / refer only needs to operate at peak power (about
10 amps ac 120v) at start up and then drops to 2 amps for part of every hour.

Subject: Stus-List Solar charger

Good morning!
First, I am not an electrical engineer. So I would appreciate keeping that in
mind.
What I would appreciate is a recommendation with specific model, make, etc. Of
a solar charger with any gizmos built in that could keep my house batteries,
two agm (I think 200 amp hour?) topped up while on my mooring. I am thinking of
installing a plug in lazarette wired to batteries that could receive plug from
the solar charger. Not trying to run my refrigeration, but boy that would be
nice! Cold beer when I arrive.
