Now that we're back home to local waters of BC's Gulf Islands where good anchorages are every few miles, and not trying to get anywhere, I am enjoying just sailing where the wind and current take us. I'm finding surprising speed on reaches... Yesterday we almost caught up to a Beneteau that was motoring across the channel in 6-10 of breeze, with just our genoa on a beam reach.
