We drop our masts every fall. One spring the main halyard was jammed when raised. Going up the mast, we found the main halyard was off the sheave and was jammed between the topping lift halyard sheave and the main halyard sheave. It was pulled out of the jam and put back on the main halyard sheave.
Washers to tighten up were inserted the next time the mast was dropped. > On Jun 11, 2021, at 5:49 PM, Edd Schillay via CnC-List > <cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: > > Agreed. > > All the best, > > Edd > > ———————————————- > Edd M.
