Do NOT sail under the bridge, the wind shadow of the bridge will pop the boat 
upright at exactly the wrong time.
Having a couple people sit on the boom and swing it out would be a better way. 
There is a marina on Lake Okeechobee that provides this service for boats that 
can’t clear the bridge. If memory serves, they fill plastic water barrels on 
one side of the boat and send one guy up the mast to push the mast over if it 
gets close to the bridge.

Coquina – I hit the Cape May Canal Bridge with the VHF antenna, it was flexible 
enough to not come to any harm. It was scary to look at though!!!!!!!!
