I looked at the Stack Pack and the Mack Pack at a boat show years ago and ended up getting the Mack Pack (Mack Sails in Florida). I don’t remember what was different, but I have been very happy with the Mack Pack. I think it was the ease of rolling it along the boom to get it out of the way for racing. I did rerig the lazy jacks that came with it last year to make it easier to tuck them away for racing and easily deploy afterwards. Their original setup made that more difficult than I thought it needed to be. My rerig was similar to the EZyjax setup on my previous boat which I highly recommend (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_0q_n3tf3s&t=5s). They are unfortunately out of business, but the design is not hard to assemble from seeing it. The major difference is that with the EZjax design grabbing the line closest to the mast allows you to pull the whole thing forward and tie it off. They had an option for a block to run it to the cockpit so you did not have to go foarward at all. The Mack Pack, and others I have seen are rigged so you have to grab the rear line to secure the entire thing, and that is more challenging. I take that forward line going up to mast on each side, clip each in a carabiner on a string by the gooseneck and then tighten the line to snug it along the boom. Dave
