Same - my furler would jam at precisely the wrong time.  Two years of 
frustration,  futile  problem solving, and a couple of dangerous situations.   

The head swivel, which I hosed out and lubricated annually, seemed free, but 
was actually binding under load. I REALLY flushed and blasted it clean,  and it 
now works flawlessly.
