Yes I concur Doyle sails are very good. A few years after I got Alianna, I
got a 135 RF head sail, tuff luff, cross cut 8 oz dacron, draft stripes,
ticklers, and sail numbers. The main was also 8 oz, cross cut dacron, 4
battens in pockets secured with velcro internal straps, draft stripes,
loose foot, first and second reef points, tell tales, C&C logo and sail
number. I have used these sails almost exclusively since I got them and
they still got lots left after 10 or so years. I had to replace the uv
strip on the foot and leach of the RF 135 after 8 years but I think that’s
quite usual. I have no hesitation in recommending Doyle sails but there is
an advantage to going with a local loft. The Doyle loft here in
Halifax/Dartmouth NS gave excellent service.
