I have had similar experience with Vivid, which is supposed to be a hard paint.  It is hard out of the water (supposedly burnishable), but very very soft in the water.  Even with a microfiber pad, I get clouds of paint in the water when cleaning.  Can’t use anything abrasive at all.   Others have reported similar issues, but some have not had this problem (Edd in Florida).  I have had to repaint large areas every spring, especially near the water line.  The slings remove most of the paint in the lift area.  Decent hard growth rejection, poor slime reduction.  Dave

I used that SR-60 the last two years in fresh water, my observation is that it is very ablative.   I touched up where it needed it this spring, and gave it a fine sanding to expose it a little better. I think I could braid the grass growing close to my waterline, looks much worse this year.
Looking for something else for next year.

I’ve been using the Petit SR-60 for the past 5 season in the Bahamas and ICW.  Of course, I add a new coat each season But it looked great every haulout.  I love this paint!

I am getting ready to have the bottom repainted. The yard is recommending
Petit Ultima SR 60.
Do any of you have experience or strong opinions about this paint.

Our boat is in fresh water 99 % of the time.
Other paint recommendations would be appreciated.
