Chuck, be sure and let us know how it works. I am changing the plexi glass in the sea hood and slider next and the white silicone had me concerned that it was a bigger job than I thought. I wondered why it was there and core explains it. I would also over drill and use unthickened epoxy then thickened. And I may as well fix it as I go. I haven’t had my trim piece off yet but wonder if it could be sealed up using white epoxy or painted epoxy rather than covered with white silicone. Len Mitchell Crazy Legs 1989 37+ Midland On.
