Can you share a photo of them? Probably different than those on my 35-2, but I wouldn't mind replacing them with something a bit more robust. I have seen mine under the Seadog name, and they are ok, but one is bent slightly, so they could be a bit stronger. It probably doesn't help that the locker lids don't fit all that well, so there is a lot of force on the hinges.
