Source for long stainless/brass screws

Hello David,

I just completed that job on my 30 MK1. These are stainless machine screws
but they worked perfectly - and were a bargain. 10 out of 12 of the
original brass screws broke off in the handrail - of course they last saw a
screwdriver in 1975. Here is the Amazon link.

#12 x 3-1/2" Flat Head Sheet Metal Screws Phillips Drive Wood Screws, 304
Stainless Steel 18-8, Self Tapping, 25 pcs by Eastlo Fastener

Good luck with it. By the way, the teak plugs are 1/2 inch.

Cheers,

Joe Boyle
