A yacht policy will include the EPA spill coverage. We are going through at my YC. Not sure if a liability only policy will include the required coverage. It is around $933k. You also want to have your marina listed as the "also insured" .Hope this helps. Doug Mountjoysv Rebecca Leah C&C Landfall 39Port Orchard yacht club -------- Original message --------From: "Ronald B. It amounts to self-insuring one's boat, which is always dangerous, but given the low prices for our boats, it seemed like a good idea. The latest problem though, is that some places now require the owner to retrieve a sunken boat. That could be quite expensive and a liability only policy won't cover that; at least I don't think so. I need to check with my broker on that.RonWild CheriC&C 30-1STL On Monday, March 30, 2020, 02:57:18 PM CDT, dwight veinot via CnC-List <cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: I am thinking just to buy liability insurance coverage and no replacement value. Is that possible and if so do i need a survey report to get liability insurance?
