IIRC edson prescribes very minimal lube on the chain since anything excessive has the potential to contaminate the brake pads. A dry lube that can be applied with a small dropper, brush, or syringe is preferable.
White lithium grease in the holes on top of the 2 different (front and back) roller bearings is more important for preventing wear but exercising caution and conservatism is still important.
