Hey Rob; Since you were "...'present at the creation...' so to speak, it looks like C&C's serial numbers were consecutive with no breaks for slight model changes. I know of one company who sometimes skips numbers for internal purposes--say a new but small feature is added (software or hardware) and the next device out the door may skip serial numbers, say from 254 to 300.
