If you’re trying to figure out where you have wet core, this is not something
you want to go cheap on. You need one that works well. After buying a cheap
one that did not work for this purpose, I ended up buying a Skipper Plus
(little under $500). Just last year alone it was worth every penny.

Kevin, you might check at Harbor Freight.

Hi all,

I am looking for a reasonably priced and quality moisture meter so I can poke
around my boat and others. Does anyone have a recommendation? I do not need
anything too professional, but just accurate enough for DIY level.

Thank you!
