I installed the same panel on sliding hatch setup on my boat last summer and it 
has worked well.  I had to use a rotary grinder to take a bit of fiberglass off 
the underside of the traveller support for it to slide easily underneath.  The 
only problem I encountered was during a race in heavy weather, the main trimmer 
was thrown against the hatch and that snapped off the solar panel wire 
connection piece when it hit the traveller arch.  To prevent that, I installed 
wooden blocks on either side of the teak hatch handle so that force pushing on 
the hatch would be taken by the blocks and handle rather than the panel 
connection.  Dave
