I guess they must have updated the application software. I had been covered for 3 years when they realized that Imzadi, my 38, was too big for their underwriting standards.
I do admit that while I was covered, I was occasionally amused by the promotional messages that lauded how big a benefit it was that they covered road service on the trailer for my boat. After Progressive didn’t renew my policy a local agent placed me with Victoria, the marine insurance subsidiary of Nationwide. Good experience until they stopped insuring boats in North Carolina.
