Paul, you can usually wire the propane detector to shut off the propane solenoid if it senses fuel. I am shopping for an automatic fire extinguisher for the engine compartment that uses a non corrosive extinguishing agent. An automatic engine shut down device is recommended. Sea-fire makes an automatic marine extinguisher for $218 USD at West Marine that will service 25 cubic feet and the 50 cubic foot is $255. The Sea-fire has a NC switch and I am thinking of wiring the M35 electric lift pump through the NC switch.
