Edd, During Touche's initial refurbishment 20 years ago, I installed a dock water inlet. I've never used it for reasons stated in other replies. I would never leave it active if I was not on the boat.
To answer your question, I added a tee in the line going to the cockpit shower and installed the inlet in the outside of the cockpit coaming. Dennis C.
