Regarding genoa/jib sheets: is it acceptable to use one double length sheet, marked in the middle, then looped through the clew? I will need to replace the sheets on our new 35 as they are too large, and the knots are also bulky as result. It seemed to me that a single sheet looped through would solve this. Are there any downsides to doing this?
