I just got my C&C36-1 last spring. it came equipped with behind the mast furling. There are no markings on it but I think it may be a Forespar system. The main sail (a Qwest main, made by Quantum and sold by West) rolls up inside an aluminum extrusion that is mounted to the back side of the mast. The whole thing is complete, in good working order and for sale. Offers anyone?
