I already have Jabsco pumps for fresh water and macerator systems, so I was initially leaning towards getting a Jabsco HotShot 5 (5gph/70psi). I have come across the Johnson Aqua Jet 5.2 (5.2gph/70psi). Both are 5 chamber pumps, and both come with a raw water strainer. I have read that both run quieter than previous generations too. The big difference is cost. I can get the Aqua Jet 5.2 for $116 whereas the best price for the HotShot 5 I found was $148.
