Hi all,
At the opposite end of the technology spectrum from America's Cup and carbon fiber, I am following the determined and persistent efforts of a young English shipwright working in Sequim, Washington State, near Port Townsend to restore a hundred year old wooden gaff rigged cutter. He's posted 41 Youtube videos showing how he bought the boat for a dollar and setup a shed and workshop to replace the frames and planking and keel and eventually the deck and cabintops. He's done an amazing job sofar working mostly solo with his personal capital and donations and volunteer help. It's an amazing story happening right now, so please check it out. https://idreporter.net/v/new-team-new-visa-new-t https://idreporter.net/v/new-team-new-visa-new-timber-boatbuilding-tally-ho-ep41-2YEriweBD0s.html imber-boatbuilding-tally-ho-ep41-2YEriweBD0s.html https://idreporter.net/v/new-team-new-visa-new-timber-boatbuilding-tally-ho-ep41-2YEriweBD0s.html Chuck
