John, There is a simple way to replace the guts of the Yanmar buzzer alarm. I first fix mine and then fix a neighbors. Ends up looking original, is waterproof, and has worked fine for over nine years to date. I posted a description some time back on the list, which I’ll dig up. Total cost under $30.
