You need to use a crimping tool not a swaging tool. They are different tools. They are NOT interchangeable. I have both.
This is the crimp tool: https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=338042 You can use one of these: https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=1044153 With the lever style you make 3 crimps. With the bolt style you make 5 crimps. I rotate the fitting 180 degrees after each crimp. If you don't, the fitting will curve slightly. Dennis C.
