Your upper limit $$$ budget may restrict your choice if you are in a hurry to buy a boat....other wise take your time and look around for what your budget may afford....in the Fall of 2005, I had sold a boat and had all Winter to look and compare....I was looking for C&C 30 MK I but didn't find one that wasn't a 'boat project'....and I didn't want a boat project....months later in Sring 2006, I found a 1984 C&C 32, one owner, professionally maintained in Racine, Wisconsin, Lake Michigan ......a long way from Halifax, N.S.  Purchase price in USD, taxes at boarder crossing back to Canada, and trucking costs were about the same as the C&C 30's available then.

And I am more than pleased that I got a Rob Ball designed C&C 32.....beautiful boat, well layed out topside and below, sails very well....I have no complaints with the 32 for what I use it for.

As mentioned, the C&C 30 is the stiffest boat we ever did, and there are enough of them around, that there are good prices . . .

AND, it has standing headroom – the 26 – not so much . . . . .
