I had a boat for sale in the mid-'90s and was contacted by one of these "brokers." I gave them the go-ahead to list it, but never got any hits.
This post raised my curiosity so I did a Google search using the boat's name -- I see it's still listed as for sale on the site. Nothing ever dies on the WWW.
