You came to the correct place. We have more than one 41 owner here AND you can
meet us all at the fall rendezvous ☺
I can’t think of any well-known defect in 41s other than being old enough to
have been abused by former owners.
As a *family cruiser*, that is a BIG genoa to horse around. Any 41 without
roller furling – well that will be your first purchase ;)

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Stus-List C&C 41 - General Information

Hello everyone,
This is my first post to this list. Thanks to everyone in advance for any
support or advice.

I'm currently in the market for a larger C&C for my family to cruise our way
around the Chesapeake Bay (middle/upper), and eventually graduating to a bit of
coastal cruising.
I just can't shake this dream of sailing to see the Statue of Liberty.

Currently, there are a few C&C 41's on the market catching my eye. What
concerns me, and the reason behind this post is the apparent lack of
information on the C&C 41 out on the internet.
I've scoured the internet and other than a few bits of commentary I really
can't find any substantial boat reviews, technical info, or good/bad/ugly
information.

Is this a case of "no news is good news", or are there issues and concerns
causing a lack of popularity?

I'm hoping to find a community of 41's happily sailing about rather than
bantering on the internet.

If any owners or sailors with experience on a 41 can provide a bit of
understanding I would be very appreciative.

Thank you,
Chris
