A sad end to a great story. Pretty well the only thing left of Third Wave is the keel which is still at Shining Waters, probably to be sold as scrap lead. A lot of the hardware, teak, etc., was sold at a yard sale this spring.
Just a side note you may find interesting; the final owner did not like the three yellow "waves" and had them removed before he launched her for the last time. I was parked right next to TW and watched the guy doing it; took at least a week to get them off. For the superstitious in the group, maybe it was bad luck? Mike Amirault C&C33ii Lovely Cruise SMSC
