Good advice. 3 sailboats fell over at Gratitude Marina in Rock Hall with the last storm. Damage was extensive on at least 1 of them.

Winter Storm Quinn looks like another wet and windy one. If possible go to the boatyard and check your jack stands , especially if your boat is stored in a dirt or gravel yard. Due to the past storm, the ground under lots of boats has shifted or eroded from the rainfall. 5 boats toppled off their stands at Boston Savin Hill YC last weekend, 2 of them sailboats. The ground simply washed away under the stands. No need to add fiberglass repairs to this spring’s to do list!
